Barry Z. Brodsky is a certified specialist in Legal Malpractice Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Prior to joining
Waxler Carner Brodsky LLP, Mr. Brodsky was a partner at Haight Brown & Bonesteel LLP for 14 years, beginning his career there, and elected to the partnership in 1987. Thereafter, he headed the Professional Liability Practice Group which consisted of 20 plus attorneys handling the defense of lawyers, accountants, real estate brokers, and other professionals. In 2001, Mr. Brodsky joined his current partners as Waxler Carner Brodsky LLP.

Mr. Brodsky has 30 years of experience, specializing in the representation of lawyers, accountants and a variety of professionals. He has tried many professional liability cases to verdict in both State and Federal courts. He is frequently called upon to lecture on various topics involving professional liability and ethical standards.

Mr. Brodsky also has significant expertise in the handling of employment related matters including discrimination, wrongful termination and sexual harassment/abuse.

He has been recognized by Los Angeles Magazine as one of Southern California's "Super Lawyers" for 2009, 2010 and 2011.

Mr. Brodsky is AV Rated and has been a member of the California Bar since 1980. Mr. Brodsky graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Berkeley, with Honors in Economics and Great Distinction in General Scholarship in 1977, and attained his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Loyola School of Law, Los Angeles in 1980.
